Spicebush Berries (Dried)

.70 ounces of dried spicebush berries

Spicebush, Lindera benzoin (also known as wild allspice) is a shrub in the laurel family, native to eastern North America. It is a critical native pollinator plant, essential for Spicebush Swallowtail butterflies.

Carriage House Farm harvests the red berries in the early autumn and dries them. We sell the berries whole and unprocessed. Perfect for milling to add allspice flavors to rubs and meat curing. It can also be used in cocktails and home brewing.
