Camping At the farm

We have now Hipcamp sites located at the farm! We are slowly adding sites that allow guests to stay within an easy walk to our farm store, Lost Bridge Beverage Co., and Chloe’s Eatery! Enjoy an night under the stars but only a mere 25 minutes from downtown Cincinnati. Visit Lost Bridge Beverage’s event lineup and plan a stay to enjoy an evening music, food, and drink without worrying about a drive home!

During large events we can accomodate large groups of people and pull temporary campsite permits with the county.

Carriage House Farm’s Miami River Paddle Club

In 2023 we added our river access point in our lower lot across from the farm market! Members now have access to a 3 acre lot to enjoy paddling the Great Miami River (and White Water and Ohio Rivers as well!), picnicking, and camping. Members are able to keep their cars there, secured, off the road while paddling down or up stream. Access anyone of a number of public ramps upstream on both the Great Miami and Whitewater Rivers and travel down stream to the farm. Put in by Lost Bridge and travel down stream, enjoy the Oxbow and bird watching, angling, or just paddle down to the Ohio River and on to Tanners Creek and pull out. Members will be allowed to stay overnight if they want, pitching a tent or enjoying a campfire. Plan your day, paddling till late afternoon, catch an evening music event at Lost Bridge Beverage and dinner at Chloe’s Eatery and stay the night!

2024 On-Farm Classes

New classes will be announced after the first of the year! We are offering a number of classes for the community this year and the list will grow as more come on line. This year marks the first of the classes done through the “Edible School House,” a collaboration between Carriage House Farm, region food, farming, and sustainability leaders, and the Edible Ohio Valley Foundation. Classes will run the gamut from hands-on cooking or craft classes to walk-and-talk lectures about planting gardens for pollinators to meat butchering.

Our mission with our classes is to

  • share what we have learned while working on the farm

  • to give you a toehold in a specific subject matter and whet your curiosity to discover more on your own

  • to introduce you to the farm—a place we love deeply

  • to get to know our community

Whenever possible or appropriate, each class will include a social portion during which we share something to eat or drink and relax together in friendship. This is a family farm, emphasis on “family” and we want you to enjoy your time here. Below is the current list (updated regularly).

Booking a Private Event

We are coming closer to realizing our dream of being an outdoor destination site serving the Greater Cincinnati area.

Our small patio at the new barn and our tree lined terrace picnic area is available to book for groups. You are required to cater the event via Chloe’s Eatery, a mobile restaurant located at Carriage House Farm. Chloe’s Eatery is available for off-site events as well. With the opening of the Lost Bridge Beverage Co. we are able to supply customers with a well rounded offering of space, food, and beverages. We are developing additional sites around the property to allow us to host different types of social engagements be it a gender reveal party or birthday. Looking to host an off-campus work session for your place of business teamed up with local not-for profits? Want to go big and use our location to host a music festivalLook no further!
